A story of an Irish family from early beginnings in the 12th century up to the early part of the 20th century. Links to England at the time of the reformation and Plantation and to the United States at the time of American Independence are of particular interest. The people and events have been diligently researched by renowned historian and writer Turtle Bunbury.

Join us once a month through the growing season.
For an hour from 11 am on the last Saturday of the month, from March to September, we will examine, explore, dig, plant, weed, harvest a range of vegetables in our six plot rotation. We will also look at tomatoes in the greenhouse, herbs in the physic garden, soft and hard fruits, poultry, apiary and even logging.
You will see the cycles of nature and experience the rhythms of life. We will chat about the role of fungi, compost, natural methods of pest and disease control. We will discuss recipes and health benefits

Please note that the course is in-person, but you can choose video only at a discounted price if you only wish to view the recorded sessions - no interaction with guide or participants. (There will be no on-line interactive zoom option.)
