The
newsletter, our monthly global review, has been published for 4 years
and is
now taking a new direction.
The
newsletter has been a bridge between The Big Picture Story
and
the new blog.
The Big Picture Story
provides a multidimensional vision of our world and what it might
become
depending on our life choices. The newsletter has reported and
analysed
Big Picture trends, defined forecasts of how quickly change might be
needed,
how system change might occur and what would allow change to
happen. Now
the blog
format offers the same type
of analysis, with enhanced features such as
·
subject
categorisation, such as Geopolitics, The World
of Money, etc., which you
can click on according to your interests;
·
more comprehensive
interlinking;
·
interaction –
registered
users can post thoughts, feedback and comments.
Being an (organic) gardener, it's easy
to see
the metaphor of the “compost” that these four years of reflection,
analysis and communication have been, and how they have reaped a more
streamlined and categorised “blogging” method of relating our
perspective to you. The Blog has therefore emerged as a complement to
the Big
Picture Story - you can see the similarities between the Big Picture
chapters
and the Blog categories in the table below.
Our
analysis is unique in that it reflects a holonic
perspective. More and more of us are touched by the footprint of
humanity
from climate change to economic volatility, from food manipulation to
war, from
work to leisure. The ripple of change is fast becoming a tidal wave
carrying us to a future that will be different and unexpected. We will
continue to survey diverse sources and offer Big Picture perspective
and
comments via the Blog, which we hope you will use as a resource to
create the
future in your own sphere.
The
website will also be re-formatted in the coming weeks to present a
simpler
initial interface while retaining most of the useful resources,
archives and
links.
To those
amazing people – change leaders – who have given inspiration and
encouragement by spending time reading, commenting on and complimenting
the
newsletter, I would like to extend my thanks. It is a privilege and a
dream to
meet you (even if only virtually!). My great thanks to
