Feast Upon The Earth<\/em> is on the move! DLR Lexicon will host the timescape from 26 July to 31 August 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The timescape prompts new perspectives. It situates us in geographical time and shows connections between nature, humans, food, finance, fossil fuels, consumption, pollution and climate change. We see how we have impacted our world, and can get a sense of how quickly and deeply change is happening. It asks, “What future will we choose?”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Astraea<\/strong> was a sponsor of the Mary Robinson Climate and Nature Conference<\/strong> in Ballina, Co. Mayo, in June with Feast Upon The Earth<\/em> (pictured at the Ballina Civic Offices) as a major installation.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Originally commissioned for the Irish Museum of Modern Art for their 2nd Earth Rising eco-festival, you can still catch Feast Upon The Earth<\/em> for a few more days in Tullow, Co. Carlow, at the Teach Bhride Holistic Education Centre before it moves to the big smoke!<\/p>\n\n\n
