Microsoft has agreed\u00a0 to allow European users a choice of web browsers.\u00a0 The accord with EU anti-trust regulators ends 10 years of dispute.\u00a0 Over that time, the EU imposed fines totalling 1.68bn euros – small change for Microsoft.<\/p>\n
Maybe MS has realised that users just prefer Firefox and its easier and cheaper to let users have the better browser.\u00a0 Though I’m still cynical about the level of integrity that MS will exhibit in implementing the agreement.\u00a0 After all it’s still almost impossible to buy a PC without Windoze.\u00a0 And, by the way, why is only European markets that get the choice?\u00a0 What about American, Asian, African and other users?<\/p>\n
